Recycle System Legend
What is my goal?
Cup & Coin and Recycle Station
The Cup & Coin legends work in pairs, equipped with tote bags, tokens, cup holders, and recycling signs, enthusiastically walking designated areas to exchange visitors' hard cups for recycle tokens while collecting stray cups from the surroundings. On the other hand, Recycle Station legends are stationed to collect, separate, and store cups brought by Cup & Coin legends or visitors, emphasizing the reuse and recycling potential of all materials handed in. You’ll also inform visitors about the system—like reminding them that tokens won’t be refunded but are essential for getting new cups at the bar. Both roles are vital to keeping the event tidy, engaging visitors in friendly conversations, and contributing to the success of these impactful circular systems.
Resource Street & Mobility
Resource Street legends are stationed in visible spots to publicly sort materials into specific resource streams, like plastics, cans, cardboard, and organics, helping visitors understand the importance of proper separation while enhancing their festival experience. You'll roll up your sleeves, engage in friendly chats, and bring awareness to how resources are reused and recycled. Meanwhile, Resource Mobility legends ensure the system runs smoothly by making rounds across key festival areas like entrances, backstage, food courts, and recycling stations. Equipped with a boulder cart, they transport full crates to the Resource Street and keep empty ones stocked in high-traffic spots. Together, these roles are essential for creating a clean and sustainable festival environment while fostering awareness and community engagement.
