What is my goal?

Introduction

The Social Safety Program at Revolution aims to create awareness and implement practices for ensuring harassment-free spaces, where everyone can feel welcome and able to express themselves. We do this by developing, training and implementing social awareness teams at events and work closely with event brands to create a tailor-made approach for their audiences. The goal of the program is to ensure safety at events, from both harassment and substance abuse standpoints.

Your role

The awareness team is responsible for the creation of a safe(r) dancefloor. The team walks around the terrain and is trained to identify, mitigate and intervene in potentially unsafe situations such as any type of harassment or consequence of substance use. They are not security, but the visitors’ best friends. Although the team is dancing with visitors, they are out there to protect them.
